Our bespoke Morpheus 8 treatment plan in Westminster will be based on your concerns, and before treatment you will be assessed by one of our trained professionals. We recommend a course of 3 sessions for optimal results with some people requiring further sessions for resurfacing of the skin or further collagen and elastin stimulations. To maintain results long term, we recommend a repeat session every 6 – 12 months. We also advise Forma skin tightening as maintenance between sessions and often recommend combining treatments on the face with dermal fillers or Profhilo on the body to maximise results.

Prior to your treatment, a powerful topical anaesthetic is applied to ensure your comfort in the treatment area. Morphues8 combines the use of microneedling and radiofrequency technology which can be adapted to reach different depths of the skin. 24 – 40 tiny needles help to stimulate collagen and elastin and radiofrequency is released from the tip of the needles to maximise results whilst causing minimal damage to the surface of the skin. As a result, new collagen and elastin are produced, the fibroblasts are stimulated and damaged skin cells start to repair. Unwanted fatty areas can also be targeted by adjusting the energy and depth of the treatment in those specific areas such as the double chin area and jowls.

We advise avoiding touching the treatment area for 4 hours and avoiding any makeup until the next day. In the evening you can gently wash the face with lukewarm water and a mild cleanser (such as Clinisoothe), SPF 30+ must be worn from the next morning. We advise that you avoid retinol or any strong activities for 1 week before and after treatment. It is important to avoid significant sun exposure for 1 month before or after the procedure to minimise the risk of hyperpigmentation. Your therapist may recommend that you require skin preparation before and after your treatment to prevent hyperpigmentation and this will be discussed in your consultation. Generally, the skin post-treatment may feel a little rough for a few days and the neck may take slightly longer than the face to settle.

As damaged skin cells start to repair the skin can become more even in texture and tone. Stimulating the fibroblasts can cause an instant tightening effect, as well as encouraging the production of new collagen and elastin for firmer and tighter skin. Overall skin rejuvenation of the face and / or body sees a smoother, tighter and brighter appearance. This treatment works best when used in combination with medical-grade skincare and we may recommend the use of dermal fillers to restore volume in the face. Profhilo or skin smoothing boosters may be recommended to further enhance hydration and collagen levels alongside your Morpheus 8 treatment. Results may vary as this treatment depends upon your own body’s response to treatment.

This will be decided at your consultation. Those who are looking to improve skin quality may enjoy this treatment. It is not suitable for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding or who have taken Roaccutane in the last 6 months. It is also not suitable for those who are prone to keloid scarring.

No, Morpheus 8 treatments should not be painful. A strong numbing cream is applied beforehand, and your therapist will ensure you remain comfortable throughout.

Yes, but they are temporary. Immediately after the treatment the skin may become red and swollen. Your skin may also feel tight and rough to the touch for a few days. You may also notice some small scabs on the skin or light bruising if your skin is more delicate. Side effects are temporary and have usually subsided within 1 – 7 days on average, with most back to normal within 3 days. To minimise your downtime, we often recommend utilising a product called GF5 which contains growth factors to maximise results and reduce downtime significantly. Your therapist will discuss this with you at your appointment.
