Our clinic in Marylebone works with you to put together a tailored treatment plan that achieves bespoke results. Your therapist will fully assess your skin and the amount of treatment sessions that we would recommend for you will be based on your individual concerns and the amount of elasticity in your skin. We usually recommend a course of 6 sessions, once a week, for maximum benefit with a maintenance session every 1-3 months to maximise results.

Forma can be used on various areas of the face and body for a skin tightening effect. Radiofrequency technology penetrates without the need for needles to the deeper layers of the dermis via a handheld device which encourages the tightening effect of the skin. This process triggers the production of new collagen and elastin, as well as causing an immediate tightening effect to the skin. As radiofrequency technology delivers thermal energy to the tissues, the Forma device includes in-built temperature control to ensure your skin will never overheat. We can perform this treatment on a weekly basis for up to 6 – 8 weeks, to achieve the best outcome according to your concerns. Forma tightening facial is popular amongst our patients as a standalone treatment, an add on to our other facials or alongside a comprehensive treatment programme to help you feel your best.

Following a forma tightening facial treatment you will find your skin to be red in the treated areas, possible mild swelling and an immediate tightening effect. Taking extra care of your skin following the Forma treatment is always advised by our expert therapists. Using gentle products and washing your skin with care will help to reduce the risk of further sensitivity and / or irritation. You can apply make-up immediately following treatment however, you must wear an appropriate SPF30+. You should avoid significant sun exposure for 1 week. If you are having other procedures our team will be able to ensure the timing of other treatments are appropriate. Full aftercare instructions will be provided at your appointment.

No, Forma facials are generally very comfortable and many patients find them relaxing. As the treatment is delivered to the skin you will feel a warming sensation starting to develop. This should remain at a soothing temperature that is comfortable, feeling almost like a hot stone massage. You should inform your therapist if the treatment causes discomfort.

Immediately following treatment will experience temporary redness at the treatment site, which is a normal side effect of this treatment. You may also experience some mild swelling of the skin. Forma is considered a very safe treatment with minimal side effects however your therapist will explain all risks and benefits in detail at your appointment.
