Takroni Clinic will need patient written consent before we proceed with the treatment. We first prepare the skin to remove any make-up and oils with a gentle cleanse, beforewe apply a topical anaesthetic to the area to ensure completecomfort. Once the numbing cream has also been removed, the Clear + Brilliant handpiece is used to deliver the laser energy to the skin. The handpiece will be moved across the skin by the therapist, creating microscopic treatment zones. This part of the treatment takes approximately 20 minutes.

The following morning, use a mild, non-abrasive cleanser, using lukewarm water. Keep the skin well moisturised as this will alleviate any tightness or dryness and will help the healing process. Drinking plenty of water will also help hydration. Avoid direct sun exposure, saunas and steam rooms for at least a week post-treatment and apply SPF50, daily. Do not use any products containing retinoids or glycolic acid for a week post-treatment. Make up can be applied the following day.

A typical course of Clear + Brilliant will consist of 4-6 treatments, spaced 2-4 weeks apart. Once the course is complete one can expect optimal results of improved skin texture, even skin tone, minimised pores, enhanced radiance and reduced fine lines. This treatment is a comprehensive approach to skin rejuvenation and maintenance sessions at 3-6 months will promote significant and longer lasting results.
