Takroni Clinic uses various high quality skin booster treatments administered to the superficial layers of the skin. A light-weight product made from a high concentration of hyaluronic acid integrates with the skin and tissues to greatly increase levels of hydration. A range of areas can be treated in one treatment session, with a course of between 3 treatments being recommended to produce maximum results. Maintenance sessions are required every 6-9 months to maintain results.
Aftercare is an important part of the treatment process as it helps to produce a successful result that can last over a longer term. Following the skin booster treatment your clinician will suggest the following: no touching of the treated area for a few hours and no makeup until the next day. Cleanse your skin gently and avoid any strong actives for 3-5 days. Avoid exercise for 48 hours and no sauna, steam room or facial for 1 week. Any small bumps on the skin will settle on their own over a few days.
Increasing the skin’s hydration works to encourage natural replenishment of the internal structure, and stimulate the production of new collagen. This can start to become noticeable approx. 1 week after the treatment, with best results after your full course of treatments.
