Non-surgical rhinoplasty has become increasingly popular as it is far less invasive than a surgical nose job. The results are immediate, no scarring, no anaesthetic required, fewer risks than surgery and dermal filler can also be dissolved making this a fantastic alternative to surgery where suitable. At Takroni Clinic our highly experienced and trained clinicians will use dermal fillers at precise points on the nose to help achieve a desirable result. This helps to disguise any bumps on the nose, lift the tip and even build the bridge of your nose if needed. By using the minimal amount of filler for the best possible outcome it will not make your nose appear larger. In fact, by creating a straighter and shorter bridge of your nose by smoothing bumps and lifting the position of the tip, it can even make the nose appear smaller.
Dermal fillers will need some time to settle into place after the procedure. We advise you to minimise the risk of infection by avoiding touching the area for 6 hours. To avoid moving the filler we advise avoiding eyewear for 5 days and to not have any significant massage or facials for 4 weeks. It is also recommended that you avoid extreme temperatures of heat and cold, including hot baths / showers, and avoid exercise for 48 hours.

Dermal fillers are found to be suitable for many people. Many men and women are unhappy with the appearance of their nose and, as this is the most central feature of the face and seek a solution to improve its size and / or shape. A consultation will determine if you are suitable for this treatment. This treatment is not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or under the age of 18. If you have had multiple surgical rhinoplasty treatments this treatment is not ideal as it will carry higher risks. This will be discussed in detail at your consultation.

Most patients do not require any anaesthetic for this treatment as it is considered to be generally comfortable. We use the smallest possible needles and delicately carry out your treatment to ensure your comfort. There will be some increased sensitivity at the nose tip, but this is short-lived lived and patients report this treatment as very manageable.
Redness, surface irregularities, swelling and bruising are common side effects that are to be expected following this treatment. These can take time to fully settle with bruising, if it occurs, lasting around 5 – 7 days.
