Our therapists will work with you to provide an experience that is soothing and relaxing. As medical grade facials take a more targeted approach, penetrating deeper into the skin, we explain that some may cause some mild sensations temporarily. With our HydraFacial’s, you will feel a slight suction effect on the skin throughout treatment. With our ZO facials and obagi blue radiance peel facial there may be some mild temporary stinging with the application of the peel that quickly passes. These sensations are mild, very normal and an indicator that the treatment is working as it should be.
The chance of serious complications as a result of a medical grade facial is rare as they are chosen specifically for you. Sensitive skin is the most likely side effect as the surface layer is replenished, and for the first few hours the complexion may look a little flushed.
