Takroni Clinic will need your written consent before we proceed with the treatment. We apply a dental block before the procedure to ensure you are completely numb and the treatment is therefore pain free, which allows our clinicians to produce the best possible result. We carry out our lip filler treatment with either a fine needle or a cannula, or a combination of both, depending on which method is best suited to your lips. Our clinic uses the highest quality dermal fillers that are specially formulated to work with the delicate nature of the lips.
It is important that you try not to touch the treated area for 4 – 6 hours post treatment. We advise you to avoid make-up for 24 hours and avoid significant pressure on the lips for 1 week. We also advise that you avoid any dental procedure that will involve pulling the lips for at least 3 weeks. Other things to avoid include saunas, steam rooms, facials or sun exposure for 1 week, following the treatment. You should also avoid alcohol for the first 48 hours in order to minimise bruising.
